Thank you so much for sending out my wooden cutting board. Beyond its great utility it makes a fabulous visual addition to my kitchen and is the talking point of recent visitors to my kitchen.
I recently purchased a set of wooden cutting boards, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and performance. From the moment I unpacked them, I could tell they were made with care—solid, beautifully finished, and with a lovely natural grain that makes them almost too pretty to use (but I do!).
What I love most is how gentle they are on my knives. Unlike plastic or glass boards I’ve used in the past, my blades stay sharp longer, which makes cooking much more enjoyable. They’re also incredibly sturdy—no sliding around on the countertop—and they clean up easily with a quick hand wash and a little oiling now and then to keep them looking fresh.
Another plus is that they don’t absorb odors or stain easily, even after cutting onions, garlic, or beetroot. The built-in juice grooves on one of the boards are a thoughtful touch for slicing meats or juicy fruits.
Not only are these cutting boards functional, but they also look fantastic in my kitchen. They’ve become a permanent fixture on my bench top, and I constantly get compliments from guests.
